Almonty Industries (ASX:AII) has filed a preliminary short-form base shelf prospectus in Canada and a corresponding registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission under the Canada-US multi-jurisdictional disclosure system, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

This filing gives the company the flexibility to issue various securities, such as preferred shares, debt, warrants, and common shares over the next 25 months, once the final prospectus is approved, per the filing.

No securities have been approved or offered at this time, the filing added.

The company's shares fell past 4% in recent Thursday trade.
