Focus Minerals Sells Over 20,000 Ounces of Gold in September Quarter, Shares Jump 6%

Focus Minerals (ASX:FML) said it sold 20,014 ounces of gold at an average realized price of AU$5,288 per ounce, alongside 2,540 ounces of silver credits in the September quarter, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

It had sold 7,720 ounces of gold at an average price of AU$3,698 per ounce, plus 691 ounces of silver credits, in the same quarter a year ago, according to a separate filing.

A total of 332,517 tonnes of ore were mined across the CNX, Dreadnought, and Alicia open pits as well as the Bonnie Vale underground mine at its Western Australia gold operations. Its own ore achieved an average grade of 1.68 grams per tonne with a metallurgical recovery of 94.5%.

A total of 431,346 tonnes of ore processed at the Three Mile Hill processing plant, including 371,054 tonnes of the company's own ore and 60,292 tonnes of toll treatment ore.

Its shares jumped 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
