Yokowo, Taiwan's CHPT Form Capital and Business Alliance

Yokowo (TYO:6800) signed a mutual investment agreement with Taiwan's Chunghwa Precision Test Technology or CHPT (TPE:6510) to form a capital and business alliance, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Both firms will each invest $2 million through their subsidiaries to strengthen ties and jointly develop semiconductor testing products.
The partnership aims to combine Yokowo's micro-precision and microwave technologies with CHPT's MEMS probe card expertise to expand market reach and improve competitiveness.
The alliance will take effect on Nov. 1.
