汇丰银行澳大利亚区首席经济学家保罗・布罗克瑟姆（Paul Bloxham）表示，澳大利亚三季度通胀数据大幅高于预期，这彻底改变了官方利率的前景。

　　他指出，市场此前曾期望核心通胀能朝着澳大利亚储备银行（RBA）2%-3% 目标区间的中点迈进，但实际情况却是核心通胀仍在上升。他补充道，当前通缩动力已完全停滞，澳大利亚储备银行已没有进一步下调现金利率的空间。

　　布罗克瑟姆称，澳大利亚下次利率变动很可能是在 2027 年初加息。
