路透约翰内斯堡11月11日 - 北汽集团南非公司首席财务官表示，该公司最早将于明年1月开始在南非东开普省的工厂组装其新推出的B30越野SUV。这标志着该公司在促进本地生产方面迈出重要一步。
为了缓解国内市场价格战带来的压力，以及应对欧洲和美国加强对中国汽车制造商的贸易限制，中国车企已将非洲视为关键市场。
北汽 1958.HK 、比亚迪 002594.SZ 和奇瑞等约 18 家中国汽车品牌活跃于南非市场。
北汽位于东开普省的 Gqeberha 工厂目前在组装 B40 Plus 和 X55 Plus SUV 车型。
北汽南非公司首席财务官 Anele Geza 周一晚间告诉路透，新款B30燃油版和混合动力版车型将采用完全散件组装（CKD）工艺在当地生产。这种工艺通过组装大量零部件完成整车，并提高本地化率。
北汽南非总裁杨一昕在 B30 发布会上对与会者表示，公司坚定地致力于在南非发展。他表示：“我们将继续推出更多新车型，同时稳步扩大本地化生产和价值创造。”(完)
