0401 GMT - Netease's gaming business could gain strength in 2026, Citi analysts say in a research note. Steady gross income from its evergreen titles and the upcoming release of "Ananta" should support Netease's gaming portfolio, the analysts say. Management at a post-earnings call didn't share the exact timing of its release, but noted that development gross is on track, the analysts noted. Citi maintains a buy call on NetEase but raises its ADR target price to US$161.00 from US$158.00 as the bank likes NetEase's improving resiliency and sustainability of evergreen franchise titles and growing diversification of games portfolio. Netease is also growing its global market share steadily with consistent shareholder returns, they add. ADR last ended at US$133.95. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
