Element 25 Starts Western Australia Expansion Project Work; Shares Up 11%

Element 25 (ASX:E25) said Altris Engineering started work on the Butcherbird expansion project in Western Australia as an integrated project team in collaboration with the company's engineers, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Process improvement studies are in progress, while the mining services contract tender process is well advanced and nearing final selection, the filing said.

The company is expanding the project to target 1.1 million metric tonnes per annum of manganese concentrate production, per the filing.

Shares rose nearly 11% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
