ChainCatcher 消息，挪威央行（Norges Bank）在历经数年研究后宣布，当前没有必要发行中央银行数字货币（CBDC），理由是挪威国内支付体系已“高效且安全”，并具备完善的应急机制。
尽管挪威现金使用比例已是全球最低之一，使得数字货币讨论备受关注，但央行认为目前体系仍能满足需求。
挪威央行行长 Ida Wolden Bache 表示：
“若未来维护支付系统效率与安全性需要，我们将随时准备推出 CBDC。”
她同时强调，央行将继续与金融行业及其他央行合作，关注全球 CBDC 与数字货币发展。
在北欧地区，政治层面对数字货币一直较为审慎。瑞典虽早期摇摆，但瑞典央行仍呼吁重启 e-krona 的讨论；欧央行则计划最早 2027 年启动数字欧元试点，并在 2029 年可能正式发行。
挪威央行计划在明年第一季度发布其 CBDC 研究总结与未来规划，并表示不会排除未来发行 CBDC 的可能性，同时将继续研究代币化与各类数字货币形态。
