Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) has finalized a new three-year deal worth about AU$1.5 billion with Helloworld Travel (ASX:HLO), under which HLO agents will continue to be paid to sell Qantas domestic and international flights to their customers, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

"Helloworld and its range of retail networks across Australia and New Zealand are very important to Qantas, and we recognize that agents continue to play a very important role in the sale and distribution of our products both overseas and within Australia," said Qantas International Chief Executive Cam Wallace.
