The Ministry of Business Innovation and Safety, the responsible agency overseeing product safety in New Zealand, recalled seatbelt adjusters sold by seller Microway on Kogan.com (ASX:KGN) between Dec. 10, 2023, and Oct. 22, according to a Wednesday statement by the Ministry.

The adjusters may increase the risk of injury and potentially cause abdominal injuries in the event of a crash, the statement said.

Customers were advised to immediately stop using the product and to make it unusable before disposing.

Shares of the company fell 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
