Bayan Mining and Minerals (ASX:BMM) filed a notice of intent for maiden drilling at its Bayan Springs South project in Nevada, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company engaged former Barrick Gold district geologist Charles Weakly to assist in refining and prioritizing drill targets at the project, the filing said.
Shares rose 2% in midday trade Monday.
