Image Resources Says Drilling at Western Australia Project Encounters Broad Zones of Low-Grade Gold Mineralization; Shares Rise 11%

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA) said that drilling at its Erayinia/King gold project in Western Australia encountered broad zones of low-grade gold mineralization in each hole at depth, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling yielded 23 meters at 0.7 grams per tonne gold from 342 meters depth, including two meters at 2.2 grams per tonne gold from 363 meters, the filing said.

Drilling also confirmed the continuity of the mineralized system, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 11% in recent Tuesday trade.
