美国财长斯科特・贝森特透露，德意志银行首席执行官克里斯蒂安・泽温已致电，意图淡化一份分析师报告的影响，该报告指出欧洲投资者或因贸易威胁而抛售美国资产。
贝森特在世界经济论坛的发言中表示：“所谓欧洲投资者将要抛售美国资产的说法，仅出自德意志银行的一名分析师。”
“德意志银行行长已来电说明，该行并不支持这位分析师的观点。”
这份由德意志银行首席外汇策略师George Saravelos撰写的报告显示，欧洲持有约 8 万亿美元的美国债券与股票，是美国的最大债权方。这一数据也凸显出美国政府在依靠外资弥补财政赤字方面对欧洲的依赖。
报告同时警告，地缘政治局势持续紧张，也可能促使欧洲投资者减少美元资产持仓。
