Investors Eye ServiceNow's Growth Prospects After Big Year of M&A -- Market Talk

1433 ET - Investors will be taking a close look at ServiceNow's growth prospects after a number of big deals last year, according to Baird in a note. Analysts Rob Oliver and Patrick Schulz say ServiceNow has long emphasized its organic innovation and single platform advantage, but it seems like that strategy is changing. They estimate the company's high-profile deals last year had a total value of about $13 billion. Investors now need comfort in ServiceNow's organic growth profile, given the stock is off sharpy since reports first hinted at its plans to acquire cybersecurity startup Armis in a "clear signal that investors are worried about the M&A strategy," they say.
