Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) said it found further thick silver-gold and antimony mineralization during a recent drilling at its Maverick Springs silver-gold project in the US, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The results were of up to 102.1 meters at 86.2 grams per tonne silver equivalent or 49.1 g/t silver and 0.44 g/t gold from 192 meters, including 50.6 meters at 149 g/t silver equivalent, or 91.7 g/t silver and 0.67 g/t gold from 192 meters.

The company said that drilling continues to replicate predicted mineralized zones and test open extensions of the model, reinforcing the reliability of the current geological framework and improving the definition of mineralization distribution across the resource.
