路透华盛顿6月29日 - 美国联邦航空管理局表示，已就周一捷蓝航空 JBLU.O 航班在飞往纽约约翰·F·肯尼迪国际机场途中报告撞上无人机一事展开调查。
美国联邦航空管理局称，这架从拉斯维加斯起飞的捷蓝航空 AIR.PA 空客A321客机，在最后进近阶段、飞行高度约3,000英尺时，机长报告了此次碰撞事件。
据该机构称，该事件发生于东部夏令时上午7时15分左右。
“该航班安全降落，乘客正常下机，飞机随后停飞接受飞行后检查，检查未发现任何损坏或碰撞迹象，”该航空公司表示。
负责管理约翰·F·肯尼迪国际机场的纽约和新泽西港务局尚未立即对此置评。
据媒体报导，此次周一发生的事件发生前几天，美联航 UAL.O 航班上周五在降落纽瓦克自由国际机场（另一座纽约市地区的机场）时曾遭遇无人机。
根据美国联邦航空管理局（FAA）的一份建议，无人机不应在机场附近飞行，该建议警告称，飞行员在飞行过程中很难发现并避开无人机。
美国联邦航空管理局表示，每月都会收到100多起机场附近发现无人机的报告。该机构警告称，未经授权的无人机操作者可能面临罚款或监禁。
“我们要明确传达一个信息：在飞机、直升机和机场周围操作无人机既危险又违法，”美国联邦航空管理局表示。
