韩国总理办公室消息，韩国总理韩圣淑于周五会见比尔・盖茨，双方就新一代小型模块化反应堆（SMR）合作以及韩美能源合作展开磋商。
微软创始人、核电企业泰拉能源（Terra Power）创始人比尔・盖茨已于周四抵达首尔。此行备受外界关注，市场预期其在韩会谈核心议题为深化双方在小型模块化反应堆领域的产业合作。
会谈中，韩圣淑介绍韩国政府推出的“三大重大战略项目”，计划依托半导体、实体人工智能、人工智能数据中心推动国家产业转型，并阐述稳定电力供给对上述战略的重要意义。她表示，韩国正研究构建融合可再生能源与小型模块化反应堆的多元能源结构。
总理办公室称，比尔・盖茨表示，韩国拥有核电站建造与运营经验，有望为碳中和目标落地、小型模块化反应堆产业生态建设作出重大贡献，泰拉能源将进一步深化与韩国企业的合作关系。
