Sembcorp Solar Singapore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, has signed a 25-year renewable energy purchase agreement with Malkoha, a subsidiary of Meta Platforms.

Sembcorp will construct, own, and operate a floating solar photovoltaic system with a peak capacity of approximately 150 megawatts at the Kranji Reservoir to support Meta's operations.

The construction of the floating solar farm is slated to commence in the first half of 2027.

Sembcorp's share price closed down 0.5% or 0.03 Singapore dollars at 6.37 Singapore dollars on Thursday.
