Arika Resources (ASX:ARI) identified over 25 new high-priority targets at its Yundamindra project in Western Australia through data filtering technology applied to regional and local geophysical datasets, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The analysis also improved the understanding of the lithological and structural architecture, enabling a re-interpretation of structural controls on known mineralization at the Landed at Last and Pennyweight Point prospects, the filing said.

Second phase drilling will start next week, with an immediate focus on testing strike and depth extensions at Pennyweight Point and Landed at Last, according to the filing.

Arika Resources shares rose 3% in afternoon trade Monday.
