Singapore Telecommunications' (SGX:Z74) net profit surged 183% in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec 31, 2024 to SG$1.32 billion from SG$465 million a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday.
Operating revenue was up 1% year over year to SG$3.63 billion from SG$3.59 billion, driven by strong performances by Optus and NCS.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha estimated a revenue of SG$3.62 billion for the period.
The telecommunications company expects to pay a total ordinary dividend of SG$0.165 per share for the year ending March 31.
