0929 ET - Domino's Pizza 1Q U.S. same store sales declined 0.5%, a drop the company chalked up to a challenging overall outlook for fast-food domestically. Delivery orders declined as low-income consumers watched their pennies, while cheaper carry out orders strengthened, the company says. Domino's kept its expectations of U.S. same-store sales growing by 3% this year as it starts to market its pizza on DoorDash and offers stuffed crust pies, but cautioned that macroeconomic forces could drag down those hopes.(heather.haddon@wsj.com; @heatherhaddon)
