Eco Wave Power Global AB (publ), a leading onshore wave energy technology company, has announced significant progress in its innovative 1MW wave energy power station project in Porto, Portugal. This project marks the company's first megawatt-scale deployment in Europe and the initial phase of a 20MW concession agreement with APDL. In a major milestone, Eco Wave Power has paid the first installment, representing 50% of the grid connection fee, underscoring its commitment to integrating wave energy into the local grid. The project, situated at "The Gallery" beneath the breakwater, is poised to become the world's first underwater wave energy museum and education center.
