Plug Power Inc., a leader in hydrogen solutions, announced that its Woodbine, Georgia hydrogen plant set a U.S. production record by producing 300 metric tons of liquid hydrogen in April 2025. This achievement marks the facility's highest monthly output since its opening in January 2024. The plant, the largest electrolytic liquid hydrogen production facility in the U.S., utilizes Plug's GenEco proton exchange membrane electrolyzer technology. With a nameplate capacity of 15 tons per day, it highlights the scalability and reliability of Plug's technology. The Georgia facility is part of Plug's extensive hydrogen generation network, which includes plants in Georgia, Tennessee, and Louisiana, collectively producing 40 tons per day. The hydrogen supports major clients like Walmart, Amazon, and Home Depot in decarbonizing operations.
