Shutterstock (SSTK) shareholders approved the proposed merger with Getty Images (GETY) during a special meeting.

About 82% of the issued and outstanding shares voted in favor of the merger, Shutterstock said Tuesday in a statement.

The merger is expected to close in H2, subject to regulatory approvals.

Shutterstock shares rose 7.8% in after-hours trading, and Getty advanced 11%.
