ABC News is parting ways with correspondent Terry Moran, who published an incendiary post on X about Trump aide Stephen Miller.

An ABC News spokesman said in a Tuesday statement that the post "was a clear violation" of its policies. He said the news organization was at the end of its agreement with Moran and decided not to renew it.

Moran, who was initially suspended, said in the now-deleted post on Sunday that Miller, President Trump's deputy chief of staff, "is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred." Moran interviewed Trump in April about the first 100 days of his term.

Moran couldn't immediately be reached for comment.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Sunday called Moran's post "unhinged and unacceptable" in a post on X.
