1419 ET - Wall Street's sales and earnings estimates for Freshpet look too high, UBS analysts say in a research note. So does Freshpet's stock price, they say. The pet-food company has shown softening trends in purchase frequency, repeat rates and velocity, all of which are down year-over-year, the analysts say. Its margin expansion efforts seem hard to underwrite given its media spending is expected to become a bigger proportion of its top line, they say. More subdued growth in the near-term will weigh on Freshpet's share price, the analysts say. They initiate coverage with a sell rating and a $65 price target. Shares fall 3% to $72.06.
