Marimaca Copper (ASX:MC2) said that drilling at the Pampa Medina deposit, part of its Marimaca copper project in Chile, extended the high-grade mineralized manto-system 300 meters to the west from previous drilling, intersecting a broad zone of copper mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling encountered an intercept of 10 meters of 4.2% grade of copper from 438 meters downhole. It also intersected 42 meters of 0.51% grade of copper from 158 meters.
The firm is executing a 10,000-meter extensional drilling program, with three rigs currently on site.
