Shares of technology companies rose sharply, as traders chased gains in the sector.

Nvidia shares rose, testing all-time highs as traders sloughed off concerns about the "circularity" of some multibillion dollar cross-investments among AI players.

More technology companies are integrating AI into their business after an initial experimentation phase, which could buoy Snowflake and other software firms, said analysts at brokerage Wedbush, in a note to clients.

Grindr shares rallied after the dating app received a buyout offer from two of its top investors valuing the company at nearly $3.5 billion.
