Alkane Resources (ASX:ALK) said drilling at the McLeans and Roswell deposits within the Tomingley project in New South Wales showed "significant" resource expansion potential across the site and the potential to discover other deposits, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drilling confirmed multiple wide high-grade gold intercepts at Roswell and significant gold mineralization at McLeans, the filing said.
Drilling at McLeans yielded 26 meters at 4.4 grams per tonne gold from 112 meters, including 3.3 at 22.8 grams per tonne gold at 112.7 meters, the filing added.
While drilling at Roswell yielded 9.3 meters at 3.9 grams per tonne gold from 157.9 meters, the company said.
