Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) said results from a diamond core hole at its Colosseum gold-rare earth element project in California, drilled in the northeast extension of the North Pipe breccia system beyond the currently defined mineral resource boundary, showed a high-grade gold intercept, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It hit an intercept of 149.7 meters at 1.4 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from surface to end-of-hole, terminating in mineralization with the final bottom-of-hole sample returning around 1 g/t grade of gold.
Larger-capacity diamond core drill rigs are being mobilized to the system to test the full extent of the northeast extension, per the filing.
