Fortress Minerals Limited is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company operates through two segments: Iron ore and Others. The Iron ore segment is engaged in the exploration, mining, production, and sale of iron ore. The Others segment is engaged in the remaining minor trading and investment holding activities. The Company is principally in the business of exploration, mining, production, and sale of iron ore concentrate. It produces magnetite iron ore concentrate with Tetrafluoroethylene (TFe) grade of 65.0% and above, mined from the East, Valley, and West Deposits in its Bukit Besi Mine, and sell its iron ore concentrate primarily to steel mills and trading companies in the PRC and Malaysia. The principal activities of the Company, through its subsidiaries include acquisition of mines, mining rights, metalliferous land, quarries, and trading in minerals, transport of iron ore and minerals, payroll, corporate services, and others.
