The Barclays Global Treasury Index is a value-weighted index of approximately 1,300 securities (bonds) issued by the governments of approximately 34 countries that hold an investment grade credit rating1. The Barclays Global Treasury Index was not created by, and is not managed by, a related body corporate of Vanguard.
