Sau San Tong Holdings Limited (ASX: 08200) has announced a property acquisition in Hong Kong.

Following the close of trading on June 25, 2026, the buyer, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, entered into a sale and purchase agreement with the seller.

Under the terms of the agreement, the buyer will acquire the sale shares and sale debt for a total cash consideration of HK$10.8 million.

The target company of the transaction is the legal and beneficial owner of the property in question.

The property is a commercial office unit located on one floor of the Cosmos Building at 229-230 Gloucester Road in Hong Kong.

The office space has a total gross floor area of approximately 1,328 square feet.

The company noted that the property is situated in a prime location within Hong Kong.

The board of directors believes the acquisition will be beneficial for the group in the long term.

This is primarily due to the purchase reducing the group's reliance on leased properties, thereby avoiding associated long-term rental expenses and potential rental fluctuations.

Furthermore, the acquisition will provide the group with a suitable property to support its future business growth.
