China Aoyuan Group Limited disclosed a marginal expansion of its share capital following the conversion of its outstanding mandatory convertible bonds due 2028.
On 21 September 2026, 635,234 new ordinary shares were allotted and issued at HKD 0.66 per share upon bond conversion. The issuance represents 0.013 % of the group’s pre-event issued share base.
As a result, the company’s total issued share capital rose from 4.71 billion shares to 4.71 billion shares, specifically from 4,710.15 million to 4,710.78 million shares. No treasury shares were outstanding before or after the transaction, and there were no share repurchases or redemptions during the period.
China Aoyuan confirms that the conversion was duly authorised by the board and executed in full compliance with Hong Kong Listing Rules and other applicable regulations. The company has received all funds due from the share issuance and maintains that all newly issued shares are identical in rights to its existing ordinary shares.
The filing was signed by Company Secretary Ms Chong Mei Lin and submitted to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 21 September 2026.
