Cosmos Machinery Enterprises Limited (COSMOS MACH) reported that Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee member Mr. Kan Wai Wah passed away on 31 August 2026. The Board was notified on 4 September 2026.

Mr. Kan had served on the Board since 22 May 1998, contributing nearly 28 years of governance oversight. The Board expressed deep appreciation for his diligence and commitment and conveyed condolences to his family.

Management stated that Mr. Kan’s passing is not expected to have a material impact on the Group’s operations. Following this change, the Board comprises five Directors: two executive Directors (Mr. Tang To and Mr. Tang Yu, Freeman) and three independent non-executive Directors (Ms. Yeung Shuk Fan, Mr. Lam Kwok Ming, and Mr. Lee Wai Yip, Alvin).
