The company has issued an announcement indicating an expected loss of approximately HK$1.0 billion to HK$1.1 billion for the financial year ending March 31, 2026.
This compares to a loss of about HK$72 million reported for the previous financial year ended March 31, 2025.
The board of directors attributes this projected increase in losses primarily to several key factors.
Firstly, the persistent downturn in China's real estate development and sub-leasing investment markets has continued to negatively impact the company's property projects, leading to reduced revenue and lower gross profit margins.
Secondly, the company has made provisions for impairment losses on certain assets within its property development portfolio.
Thirdly, the company incurred compensation payments due to the termination of lease agreements with sub-tenants in its investment leasing business.
