Guoen Holdings Limited has issued a profit warning, advising shareholders that it expects a loss attributable to owners of not less than HK$7.50 million for the six months ended 30 September 2026. This represents a sharp turnaround from the HK$0.75 million profit recorded in the comparable period of 2025—a negative swing of approximately HK$8.25 million.
Management attributes the anticipated deficit to two primary factors: 1. A reduction in gross profit caused by higher operating costs embedded in the cost of services. 2. A rise in administrative expenses stemming from increased share-based payment charges, legal and professional fees, and staff costs.
The figures are based on the Board’s preliminary review of unaudited management accounts; final interim results are scheduled for release on or around 12 November 2026. Until then, investors are urged to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
