VICOM’s Setsco forms Malaysian testing joint venture

VICOM Ltd announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Setsco Services Pte Ltd, has entered into a joint venture with Malaysia-based QAV Technologies Sdn. Bhd. to expand testing services for the electrical and electronics manufacturing sector in Penang. The agreement was signed on Oct, 30 2025.

The new entity, Setsco QAV Technologies Sdn. Bhd., has an issued and paid-up share capital of about 2.19 million Singapore dollars, with Setsco holding 49% and QAV owning the remaining 51%.

Setsco funded the investment through internal resources. VICOM said the transaction is not expected to have any material impact on its net tangible assets or earnings per share for the financial year ending Dec, 31 2025.

The company added that none of its directors or controlling shareholders has any direct or indirect interest in the deal.
