HKT Trust and HKT Limited (06823) released their annual results for the year ended 31 December 2025, reporting a 5% increase in total revenue to HK$36,553 million. Management attributed the growth to disciplined execution, cost efficiency measures, and solid demand for high-speed connectivity and enterprise solutions despite challenges from geopolitical tensions and shifting consumer behavior in Hong Kong.
The fiber broadband segment maintained its leadership with a 4% growth in FTTH connections to 1.086 million. Uptake of 2500M services rose by 93%, while the 5G customer base expanded by 20% to 2.096 million. Enterprise service revenue advanced 8%, backed by over HK$5 billion in newly secured projects, reflecting vigorous demand for digital transformation solutions encompassing AI-enhanced operations and smart city offerings.
Overall EBITDA grew by 4% to HK$14,234 million, reinforced by productivity gains from AI adoption and careful cost management. Adjusted funds flow similarly climbed 4% to HK$6,199 million. Profit attributable to holders of Share Stapled Units rose by 4% to HK$5,286 million.
The company declared a final distribution of 47.97 HK cents per Share Stapled Unit, bringing the full-year total distribution to 81.77 HK cents. Management pointed to continued investment in digital infrastructure and AI solutions, citing government policies and recovering economic conditions as supportive factors for further performance improvements in 2026.
