LEE KEE (00637) has released its annual results for the period ending March 31, 2026. Revenue amounted to HK$1.966 billion, representing a year-on-year decrease of 4.1%. Profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was HK$5.723 million, a significant turnaround from a loss of HK$36.121 million in the same period last year. Basic earnings per share were HK$0.69 cents.
During this fiscal year, the group returned to profitability. This improvement was primarily driven by an increase in gross profit, which benefited from the diversification of products and services, robust supply chain management, income generated from a land resumption matter, and a reduction in distribution and selling expenses.
Over the past 12 months, zinc prices exhibited volatility but recovered to an overall upward trend. During this fiscal year, zinc prices reached a high of approximately US$3,394 per metric ton and a low of around US$2,541 per metric ton. The zinc price closed at about US$3,220 per metric ton at the end of the fiscal year.
