Recently, the "First Media Industry Sustainable Development Index" was officially released, guided by the China News Culture Promotion Association and initiated by the Center for Business Sustainability at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the National Governance Research Institute of Communication University of China, and members of the UNESCO Media Literacy Alliance, including "Media No. 1." The "First Media Industry Sustainable Development Index" is based on the "Media Industry Sustainable Development VPI Rating Model," which offers a data-driven and scientific analysis of the ESG performance of publicly listed media companies in mainland China. The rating process and index results were supervised by SGS (Hong Kong) Limited.

This selection process lasted three months and included 85 publicly listed media companies in mainland China that had published their ESG reports, social responsibility reports, or sustainable development reports for the fiscal year 2024 in 2025. These companies span six major categories: advertising and marketing firms, digital media companies, gaming companies, film and television companies, publishing companies, and television broadcasting companies. Ultimately, DAMAI Entertainment distinguished itself with the highest score and received the top rating of "Practitioner."
