On the evening of July 29, news broke that Zhang Fan, the former board secretary and chief legal counsel of 360 Group, publicly stated she is owed approximately 26.49 million yuan in equity incentive benefits, seven years after leaving the company.

According to Zhang Fan, she has repeatedly attempted to resolve the issue through various channels with 360 Group. However, in May of this year, 360's lawyer unilaterally terminated communications. Subsequently, she sent a message to 360 founder Zhou Hongyi via WeChat, only to find herself blocked after sending the message.

In response, 360 Group stated: "Ms. Zhang Fan is a professional lawyer herself and was deeply involved in, even leading, the design of the transaction structure and rules at the time. She is well aware of whom to approach for claims and on what basis. If she believes her demands have not been resolved, the most direct and effective way is to file a lawsuit, present evidence to the court, and let the court hear and adjudicate the case."

"We support her in resolving the dispute legally, as this is the clearest and fairest way," 360 Group added.
