Recently, International Data Corporation (IDC) released three major reports: "IDC MarketScape: China Data Infrastructure for Generative AI 2025 Vendor Assessment," "China Big Data Platform Market Share, 2024: Comprehensive AI Transformation," and "China Data Governance Market Share, 2024: Enterprises Moving Toward Unified Multi-Modal Data Management." With outstanding product capabilities and market performance, Alibaba Cloud leads China's data infrastructure market, achieving a 47% market share in the big data public cloud market report, exceeding the combined total of the second to fourth place competitors.

According to IDC's "China Big Data Platform Market Share, 2024: Comprehensive AI Transformation" report, public cloud big data platforms have been widely adopted across various industries. In 2024, China's big data platform public cloud services market grew 24.6% year-over-year, reaching a market size of 8.99 billion yuan, with the top four cloud vendors capturing over 90% of the market share.

Among them, Alibaba Cloud's big data AI platform capabilities, including data integration, MaxCompute, Flink, PAI, AI search, and lake-warehouse data management, demonstrated excellent performance in the public cloud services market. With a growth rate of 45.8%, Alibaba Cloud secured a 47% market share, with both market share and growth rate significantly leading other cloud service providers, maintaining first place for four consecutive years.

**Generative AI Data Infrastructure Positioned in Leaders Category**

The "IDC MarketScape: China Data Infrastructure for Generative AI 2025 Vendor Assessment" report evaluated 24 internet vendors, cloud service providers, and big data vendors across three core dimensions: product capabilities, strategic indicators, and revenue scale. Results showed Alibaba Cloud positioned in the leaders category.

Alibaba Cloud possesses a complete big data and AI technology stack, with all products designed and built around AI, Agent, and Agentic frameworks. For example, Alibaba Cloud's latest OpenLake solution supports data integration, multi-engine collaborative processing, computing, and retrieval based on unified lake-warehouse storage, supporting multi-engine hybrid development processes to achieve seamless integration between data and AI. Related products have been widely applied in enterprises across internet, finance, automotive, and other industries.

**32.1% Share: Four Consecutive Years Leading China's Data Governance Platform Market**

Simultaneously, IDC released the "China Data Governance Market Share, 2024: Enterprises Moving Toward Unified Multi-Modal Data Management" report. Alibaba Cloud demonstrated significant advantages in data quality, metadata management, and data asset value mining, securing first place for four consecutive years with a 32.1% share.

Alibaba Cloud's big data AI platform now operates clusters of hundreds of thousands of machines with exabyte-level data processing capabilities, making it China's largest data processing platform. Its self-developed ODPS architecture includes core products MaxCompute, Hologres, and DataWorks, which have been comprehensively upgraded for AI, further promoting deep integration between big data and AI.

Over the past 15 years, Alibaba Cloud's big data AI platform has served tens of thousands of domestic and international enterprises, including State Grid, Xiaohongshu, Zeekr, Tianhong Fund, and GoTo.

**Case Study: Xiaohongshu**

As one of China's leading internet companies, Xiaohongshu's data lake stores all raw data from the past 11 years, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. In recent years, with rapid business growth, Xiaohongshu's demand for online data processing has continuously increased, while offline processing of accumulated historical issues would bring additional costs and risks in future transitions. After a year-long effort, Xiaohongshu successfully migrated the industry's largest data lake to Alibaba Cloud with zero failures.

**Case Study: OPPO**

As a leading industry enterprise, OPPO's big data platform has accumulated hundreds of petabytes of data and hundreds of thousands of tasks, covering OPPO's hardware, software, internet services, and other businesses. With continuous business development, OPPO recognized that future data volumes, task scales, and technology evolution paths would require entirely new infrastructure support. Recently, OPPO successfully migrated its big data platform to Alibaba Cloud.

**Case Study: GoTo Indonesia**

Indonesia's GoTo Group has also successfully deployed its financial services business GoTo Financial's infrastructure on Alibaba Cloud. In the future, Alibaba Cloud will support Indonesia's leading digital wallet GoPay, serving over 20 million local users.
