Sembcorp Industries (U96) announced on Jan, 28 2026 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Power Pte Ltd, has signed a key terms agreement with Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd to enlarge their existing 18-year power purchase agreement established in 2023.

The revised arrangement adds 150 MW of capacity to the current 450 MW already supplied to Micron’s Singapore manufacturing sites, bringing the total contracted supply to 600 MW. The agreement’s tenor remains unchanged and continues through 2041.

Sembcorp said the additional power will back Micron’s ongoing expansion of advanced semiconductor production in Singapore, a key component of the global artificial-intelligence supply chain.

The group added that the transaction is not expected to have a material impact on its earnings per share or net tangible asset per share for the financial year ending Dec, 31 2026.
