On August 29, UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) released its 2025 interim results report. In the first half of the year, UBTECH ROBOTICS achieved revenue of 621 million yuan, representing a 27.5% year-over-year increase; gross profit reached 217 million yuan, up 17.3% year-over-year; and R&D expenses totaled 218 million yuan, accounting for 35.1% of revenue. During the reporting period, both the company's artificial intelligence education business and consumer robotics and other hardware equipment business achieved nearly 50% year-over-year growth.

In 2025, UBTECH ROBOTICS achieved a breakthrough in humanoid robot deliveries. In April, the company officially signed a major procurement contract for large-scale bipedal humanoid robots with clients. In July, it won a robot equipment procurement project worth 90.5115 million yuan, setting a record for the highest single contract amount among global humanoid robot companies. The company is accelerating its humanoid robot production process and expects to deliver 500 industrial humanoid robots within 2025.

Behind the accelerated humanoid robot deliveries lies UBTECH ROBOTICS' continuous R&D investment in embodied intelligent humanoid robots and long-term focus on industrial application scenarios. Following the world's first multi-robot, multi-scenario, multi-task humanoid robot swarm intelligence collaborative training at the Zeekr 5G smart factory in March this year, UBTECH ROBOTICS has upgraded its swarm brain network to version 2.0. It also developed the world's first intelligent agent technology Co-Agent specifically designed for industrial humanoid robot bodies, constructing an AI dual-loop system that enables spiral evolution of humanoid robots' autonomous operation and group collaboration, forming production line-level task execution capabilities including collaborative handling, collaborative sorting, collaborative operation, and collaborative quality inspection.

UBTECH ROBOTICS continues to advance the development of key technology clusters including human-like brain, human-like cerebellum, and high-performance limbs, achieving breakthroughs in high-performance servo drive technology, large model technology, four-eye semantic VSLAM technology, learning-based motion control technology, pure vision binocular imaging and perception technology, and multimodal interaction technology. These innovative technologies have been applied to the new generation full-scale industrial humanoid robot Walker S2, enabling it to possess superior task planning skills, dexterous manipulation skills, navigation and mobility skills, and human-machine interaction skills.

Walker S2 is also equipped with UBTECH ROBOTICS' globally pioneering hot-swappable autonomous battery replacement system for humanoid robots, featuring 3-minute autonomous battery swapping and 7×24 continuous operation capabilities, redefining the energy management paradigm for humanoid robots and building "never-stopping new productive forces."

UBTECH ROBOTICS continues to build its humanoid robot technology pool. As of June 30, 2025, the company has obtained 2,790 authorized patents and has led or deeply participated in the formulation of multiple international and national standards for humanoid robots. It has cumulatively participated in drafting and publishing over 40 standards in the fields of intelligent robots and artificial intelligence, including three national standards: leading the formulation of "Technical Requirements for Humanoid Robots Part 5: Operation and Manipulation" and "Technical Requirements for Humanoid Robots Part 6: Positioning and Navigation," and jointly leading "Technical Requirements for Humanoid Robots Part 7: Human-Machine Interaction."

Looking ahead, the application of humanoid robots is accelerating. Based on its full-stack core technology accumulation, UBTECH ROBOTICS focuses on application scenarios and continues to advance the application of humanoid robots in industrial manufacturing, commercial services, scientific research and education, and family companionship scenarios, providing new momentum for forging new productive forces and new industrialization.
