DIRECT DRIVE (06731) announced that, as of the date of this announcement, the company has entered into an agreement with EVERYBOT Inc. (listed on KOSDAQ, stock code: 270660.KS, "Everybot") regarding strategic cooperation between the two parties across multiple fields.
According to the strategic cooperation agreement, within three years from the date of the agreement, the company and Everybot will cooperate in the following areas: Market promotion: the two parties will carry out joint marketing, exhibition demonstrations, pilot projects, and customer matching for the global market to accelerate market validation and commercialization of innovative achievements; Joint research and development: the two parties will, based on the actual needs of the South Korean domestic market and overseas markets, focus on key application scenarios such as manufacturing, logistics, and elderly care to advance localized adaptation of products and the co-creation of market-adapted product solutions; and Distribution authorization: the company authorizes Everybot to become the company's distributor in the South Korean market, responsible for the import, distribution, marketing, installation support, and after-sales service of the company's robot and power module series products in South Korea, covering online, offline, public scenarios, and enterprise-level omnichannel markets, providing local users with comprehensive usage support.
The company's board of directors believes that the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks an important beginning for the company's implementation of its embodied intelligence globalization strategy, and overseas market expansion is one of the company's core strategic actions, in line with the strategic development direction of "globalization" and "localization in overseas markets."
This cooperation, relying on the respective strengths of both parties in robot product intelligent manufacturing, industry experience, and South Korean local market channels, will achieve two-way empowerment between robot intelligent manufacturing and deep cultivation of the South Korean market, helping the company's embodied intelligence products continue to go global.
