AIA Group Executes HK$365.37 Million Buyback, Repurchasing 4.22 Million Shares

Hong Kong, 11 May 2026—AIA Group Limited disclosed a Next Day Disclosure Return detailing the latest progress of its on-market share repurchase programme.

Key transaction • On 11 May 2026, AIA acquired 4.22 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HK$85.80 to HK$87.20. • The aggregate consideration amounted to HK$365.37 million, implying a volume-weighted average cost of HK$86.58 per share. • All repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation and have not yet been removed from the share capital register.

Share capital position • Issued share capital remained unchanged at 10.45 billion shares, with no treasury shares held. • Including the latest purchase, shares repurchased but not yet cancelled between 4 May and 11 May 2026 total 10.55 million, equivalent to roughly 0.10 % of the current issued share base.

Authorised mandate utilisation • Shareholders approved a repurchase mandate on 23 May 2025, permitting the company to buy back up to 1.07 billion shares. • Cumulative repurchases under this mandate have reached 193.70 million shares, representing 1.81 % of the issued shares as at the mandate date.

Moratorium • In accordance with listing rules, AIA is restricted from issuing new shares until 10 June 2026, 30 days after the latest buyback.

The disclosure confirms that all repurchases complied with Hong Kong listing regulations and the explanatory statement dated 9 April 2025.
