2026年9月29日，大众银行与大众金融控股有限公司（00626）联合公告披露，已向香港证监会收购事务执行人员申请并获其“有意”同意，将私有化计划文件的寄发最后期限由原定的2026年9月29日延至2026年11月12日。
根据《公司收购及合并守则》规则8.2，计划文件原则上需在2026年9月8日联合公告日期后21日内寄发，即不迟于2026年9月29日。公司表示，延期主要由于以下事项尚需额外时间处理： 1. 向百慕达法院申请指示聆讯，以就召开法院会议批准计划取得指引； 2. 编制并落实计划文件所载资料，包括无利害关系计划股东的独立财务顾问意见函件。
公告称，关于私有化建议的详细时间表将载于计划文件及随文件寄发时的联合公告中。公司将按照《收购守则》和《上市规则》要求，适时公布建议进展。
公告提示，大众金融控股股东及潜在投资者应注意，私有化及撤销上市的实施须以所有条件于最终截止日期前获达成为前提，相关交易未必最终完成。投资者在买卖公司证券时需审慎行事。
