On November 7, the Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area issued a notice on several measures to accelerate the building of a highland for open-source and open Xinchuang (innovation in information technology application) industries.

According to the measures, software and hardware upstream and downstream enterprises are encouraged to form ecosystem alliances and carry out joint adaptation research to create benchmark application scenarios.

The measures aim to give full play to the role of application traction, support enterprises in working with user units to carry out integrated innovation, "string the beads into a chain" to form integrated solutions, and promote the expansion of products and services into complex and key business scenarios.

Support will be given to new technologies and products such as super-node servers, AI terminals, super intelligent agents, quantum computing cloud platforms and next-generation mobile communications for first trial and first use as well as pilot-scale verification services.

Based on technological innovation, scenario demonstration value, application promotion prospects and ecosystem coordination, support of up to 30 million yuan will be provided.
