On October 7, data from CHABAIDAO revealed that during this year's extended Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Golden Week holiday, sales at scenic spot stores nearly tripled compared to regular days, with some locations selling over 2,000 cups per day.
In terms of travel trends, the "hidden gem small cities" reverse tourism phenomenon remained popular, as non-first-tier cities such as Dezhou in Shandong, Diqing in Yunnan, and Jiayuguan in Gansu ranked among the top ten CHABAIDAO stores by sales growth during the National Day period. Stores located in traditional scenic areas like Kuanzhai Alley and Jiuzhaigou also experienced peak customer traffic.
Regarding consumer preferences, provinces such as Jiangsu, Sichuan, and Henan led in tea beverage sales, while coffee was more popular in Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.
"The holiday economy brought us tangible foot traffic and sales growth," said a representative from CHABAIDAO, noting that domestic store performance during the long holiday exceeded expectations, and feedback from overseas markets was also encouraging. "Going forward, we will continue to refine our products and introduce more categories that consumers love."
